Michele Guss Realtor In 2016 I returned to my roots and relocated back to Maryland. I will be with you every step of the way, always putting your best interest first.

I began my career as a REALTOR® in 2005 assisting buyers, sellers, and investors with their purchase and sales of residential real estate in the Phoenix metro area. As a rare 3rd generation Washingtonian, a graduate of the University of Maryland, and a Montgomery County, MD resident residing in Rockville, I’m very familiar with the ins and outs of the ever-changing local market. As a seasoned REALTOR®, I possess a wealth of experience and knowledge working through a variety of economic conditions and housing markets. My strong communication and analytical skills as well as 30+ years of sales and negotiating experience give me a competitive edge. As your REALTOR®, when working for you as your real estate professional I advocate and assist you with navigating the often-challenging process of buying, selling, and investing in residential real estate from our first contact to a successful closing. Earlier this year, the Montgomery County Council raised recordation tax rates, which go into effect on October 1. Previously, there were three rates to consider when calculating recordation taxes:
A base rate ($2.08 per $500)
A school increment ($2.37 per $500) for the entirety of the purchase
A premium rate ($2.30 per $500) for consideration paid above $500,000

As of October 1, the base rate and school increment will remain the same, while the premium rate will increase and expand with three additional tiers.
