She has a combined skill set of real estate investing, property rehab, project management and residential design. After graduating with her professional degree in Architecture at the top of her class, Talyssa has united both her passions in to one by providing a comprehensive and integrated service for her clients. There’s nothing better than seeing the right tenant find the right space.

I really enjoyed helping both the owner and new tenant bring the next chapter of 434 W Cedar St. in Little Italy together. We wrapped up the remodel, prepared the space for its next use, and welcomed a new tenant to the building — all within 30 days.

And this one truly felt like the perfect match. There’s something incredibly inspiring about working from a space with so much architectural character and history, designed by renowned San Diego architect Rob Quigley. It’s exciting to see that history continue with someone who genuinely appreciates what makes the space special.

A great reminder that sometimes real estate is about more than simply leasing a property — it’s about connecting the right people with the right place.

What was once a dated stucco exterior with white vinyl windows has been completely transformed into a timeless modern farmhouse through intentional architecture, premium materials, and exceptional craftsmanship.

For this exterior renovation, we:
▪️ Rebuilt the rear deck with new structural columns and beams
▪️ Installed premium finished Douglas Fir and black architectural hardware
▪️ Replaced every window and added new sliding glass doors
▪️ Installed a custom black farmhouse front door
▪️ Wrapped the exterior in beautiful board and batten siding
▪️ Added cedar tongue-and-groove ceilings beneath the deck and front porch
▪️ Replaced the garage siding
▪️ Flattened the soffits and straightened the eaves for a clean, contemporary architectural profile
▪️ Completed the transformation with all-new modern exterior lighting

Every decision was made to elevate the home's character while creating a warm, timeless aesthetic that will stand the test of time.

Another transformation nearing the finish line!

This Clairemont property is getting a stunning outdoor upgrade with brand-new Trex decking, and it's already making a huge impact. The custom-designed railing and pergola are currently being built and will be installed soon, bringing the entire vision together.

It's always exciting to watch a project evolve from concept to reality, and this one is almost ready for the final reveal. Stay tuned for the completed transformation!

Starting the color selection process and yes… it can feel like a lot

We tested around 15 samples between wall and trim colors to see what actually works—not just on paper, but in real life. The biggest game changer? Seeing how each color shifts in sunlight vs. shade. It’s wild how different it can look throughout the day.

And it’s never just about one color… everything has to tie together—roof, gutters, fascia, window trim, front door, soffits, beams, hardware, flooring, tile, even the garage door. It’s all one big composition.

Dialing it in now so the final result feels clean, intentional, and elevated.

Full exterior remodel underway in Clairemont.

Designed in collaboration with local architect , this project is moving out of demo and into the rebuild phase. We’re currently addressing repairs uncovered during construction and preparing for the next major steps—installing windows, doors, and siding.

From there, we’ll bring in the finishing elements: wood-wrapped columns and beams, decorative hardware, along with cedar tongue-and-groove detailing at the porch and deck.

Excited to see this transformation come to life.

Starting schematic design = organized creativity. Even though it looks chaotic.
My process looks like this:
1. As-built in CAD (existing conditions)
2. Sketch overlays + bubble diagrams to test program + flow
3. Refine into real rooms, adjacencies, and circulation
4. Then we start dialing in materials, light, and character

This is where the “idea” turns into a plan you can actually build.
