Brian Cesare is a FL State licensed Home Inspector and State licensed Building Contractor. Since 1989 Buying or selling a home is a major decision in ones life.

In order to make the most informed decision, you need to have as much information as you can about the property and from a reliable source. OSI has been inspecting residential and commercial real estate in the greater Tampa Bay area for over 25 years. With licensing from the State of Florida as a building inspector and another as a state licensed building contractor, our inspector has the credentials and the lengthy experience in the industry to give you the most reliable information about your property. Professionalism and integrity are what you will get when choosing OSI because as a 3rd generation builder, I approach each home inspection as if I was purchasing the property myself.

Check out the condition of outer sheathing on the main electrical wires. Nice hole under the weather head/cap where the wires go down the mast too. Yikes!

Sometimes the gable vent is the only way into the attic. This was a removable hatch which made it a little easier. One of us then drew the short straw to go in as you can see!

It is always good practice to have any tree limbs growing in close proximity (or touching) the roof trimmed away (by the appropriately licensed individuals) as this can cause damage to the roof. In this instance, it was suspected the nearby sea grape tree had previously been the culprit.
