Ladies Who List RVA | Dinner at Lafayette Tavern! 🍸

This month, Ladies Who List headed to one of Richmond’s hottest spots, Lafayette Tavern, and we had a special guest joining us — the wonderful Beth Dalton!

From the moment we walked in, we loved the atmosphere. Think old-school New York supper club meets neighborhood tavern, with dim lighting, bustling tables, great music, and just enough of a Goodfellas vibe to make us feel like we were dining with the mob! In the best possible way, of course. 😉

The cocktails were fabulous, the w**e was flowing, and the food did not disappoint!

This time, we skipped the appetizers and went straight for the main event.

🍔 The Tavern Burger was the popular choice, with three of us ordering it. Bentley decided to splurge on a side of onion rings, which turned out to be practically a table appetizer. Plenty to share, and absolutely worth it!

🐟 Melanie enjoyed the salmon with a side of green butter peas. And we have to say, it’s refreshing to see good old-fashioned peas getting a little attention on a restaurant menu!

🥪 Dial and Beth both went for the French Dip, another delicious choice.

And because no Ladies Who List dinner is complete without a little something sweet, we finished with the massive, decadent ice cream sundae. Definitely one to share!

Our verdict? Lafayette Tavern delivers on atmosphere, food, cocktails, and that lively, energetic vibe that makes a night out feel like an occasion. A fabulous addition to Richmond’s restaurant scene and a great spot for a local night out.

Most importantly, another wonderful evening of great food, laughter, conversation, and friendship. That’s what Ladies Who List is all about!

🍸 Ladies Who List RVA | Civita Italia

We finally made it to Civita Italia at GreenGate — which seems to be all the rage right now — and we had a splendid time!

We started properly with dirty martinis, cosmopolitans and sparkling rosé. 🥂 The atmosphere was lively, beautiful and fun — perfect for a girls’ night out.

Dinner was divine! The showstoppers were the salmon, short-rib ravioli and Sicilia alla Vodka. The short-rib ravioli was rich and decadent, and the Sicilia alla Vodka was another favorite. The Chicken Marsala didn’t quite rise to the level of the others for us — but you can’t win them all!

Great drinks, great food, fun atmosphere and, as always, even better company. ❤️

Civita Italia is definitely worth checking out.

LADIES WHO LIST RVA 🍸 | Scott’s Addition Edition

This time, it was just Bentley and Elizabeth checking out Cochiloco in Scott’s Addition — and, as always, we’re giving you their actual review. 😉

First things first: margaritas. Obviously. They also started with chips, cheese dip and guac because research should always be thorough.

🌮 Elizabeth: Chicken Tacos — she liked them!
🦐 Bentley: Shrimp Quesadillas — unfortunately, these were a miss. They were pretty greasy, and she probably wouldn’t order them again.

Their meals were around $25 total, and the restaurant itself was lively, fun and clearly a popular Scott’s Addition spot.

But their favorite discovery of the evening may have been The Richmond Store right next door! Such a cute place with great local gifts. Bentley even found a journal for her daughter that she couldn’t leave without. ❤️

That’s one of the things we love about these little LWL outings — trying Richmond restaurants, discovering local businesses and sharing the good, the great…and occasionally the greasy. 😂
