The winner gets one free donut a day, in person, for 365 days, starting the day after the event. Miss a few days? The bakery will sometimes allow a few donuts in one visit to catch up.

It's the gift that keeps on giving, and a delicious way to support our neighbors.

Thank you, Sugar Shack Bakery! 100% of the auction proceeds go directly to the Reedsport Food Pantry.

No ticket needed to bid. Bidding opens Wednesday, November 4th at givebutter.com/c/reedsport_rising

Auction spotlight! 🪵

Master carver Dan "Heffy" Heffron has donated a one-of-a-kind praying mantis to the Reedsport Rising Silent Auction, and it's a showstopper.

Carved entirely by hand from two different kinds of wood, this piece shows off everything Heffy is known for: lifelike detail, warmth, humor, and precision. No paint, no glass eyes, just the natural wood telling the story.

A true work of art made right here in our community, and a perfect conversation piece for a shelf, mantel, or desk.

Thank you, Heffy, for supporting our neighbors! 100% of the auction proceeds go directly to the Reedsport Food Pantry.

No ticket needed to bid. Bidding opens Wednesday, November 4th at givebutter.com/c/reedsport_rising

Greetings Neighbor! Introducing My First Scarecrow. 🎃

True Steward is participating in the Reedsport Main Street Scarecrow Contest this year and I had way too much fun with this. As a business joining in alongside our community residents I decided to display mine at home because honestly that felt more like me.
Be gentle, it is my first one. 😄
Have you spotted any of the other scarecrows around town yet? Drop your favorites in the comments! 🦅

Greetings Neighbor! Has anyone else checked out the new outdoor fitness equipment at Barrone Park yet? I have been putting it to use and I have to say it is a great addition to our community. Fresh air, a little movement and no gym membership or gear required. If you have not tried it yet I highly recommend it. Drop a comment and let me know what you think! 🦅

Reedsport Rising is back for year two, and we hope you'll join us!

Last year, local restaurants, brewers, and neighbors came together for a night of good food and giving back. It started with a simple idea: Bring our community together to feed our community. This year we're doing it again, and our goal is simple. Raise money for the Reedsport Food Pantry so our neighbors have food on the table this winter.

Enjoy local food and spirits from our participating restaurants and beverage vendors, plus a dessert auction, a silent auction, and a whole room full of neighbors looking out for each other.
100% of the proceeds go directly to the Food Pantry.

Get your tickets and preview auction items at givebutter.com/c/reedsport_rising or scan the QR code on the flyer.

Thank you to our presenting sponsor, the Lower Umpqua Hospital District, and to every sponsor, restaurant, and donor making this night possible. Please share this post and bring a friend. Let's rise together!!

Greetings Neighbor! September Adopted-a-Park cleanup is done. Renaldo and I were out at the park this morning and as always the park had plenty to say.

The usual suspects made an appearance along with a few surprises. The zip ties continue their monthly streak and this month we added pink boa feathers to the collection. I have questions.

Our parks deserve better and showing up consistently is how we keep them that way. 🦅
