I have a bunch of tomatoes on the vine that are not ripening. Is there anyone in Powers that like green tomatoes and would like them to cook or can. My tomatoes did great this year and I have more than I can deal with right now.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR!!!

The Coquille River STEP Association will be hosting a steelhead fishing seminar at the Coquille Community Building in Coquille, Oregon on January 9, 2027. This will be FREE OF CHARGE. The fun will begin at 12:00 through 4:00.

Seminar will cover everything from rods and reels, knots, history of the elusive steelhead, and much more. Great for both the beginner and the seasoned fisherman. Great information will be exchanged and stories told.

Donations will be accepted and Coquille River STEP merchandise will be on sale. Honey Badger Cabin will be donating a certificate for a 2 night stay for the event. We will post where tickets for raffle will be available on the HBR page as well as the Coquille River STEP page. Tickets will be sold at seminar also.

Text YES to 541-297-7868 if you plan on attending so we can get an idea of how many people will be attending. The below Picture of one of the happy South Fork Fisherman that the STEP program helps stock.
