Desert Shield was proud to support NAHREP Southeast Phoenix’s Threads of Heritage at the Desert Botanical Garden, a beautiful celebration of Latino fashion, creativity, and the culture that makes the Valley so special.

The fashion show was stunning. Every look told a story, and watching the designs come down the runway against the glowing saguaros was pure magic.

Our own Tasha Long serves on the chapter’s Board of Directors and is the 2027 President-Elect. Preston Long joined her for the evening as we celebrated alongside real estate professionals, friends, and community leaders committed to advancing Hispanic homeownership.

Another big milestone for our growing team! Congratulations to Chad Smith on passing the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE)! 👏

Chad has been training alongside us in the field, putting in the work and preparing for this next chapter. As a retired Marine, pilot, flight paramedic, and skydiving instructor, he's no stranger to discipline, precision, and taking on a challenge.

Words can’t describe how proud, blessed, and honored I am to welcome Madelyn Rose Long into this world and to call her my granddaughter.

There are certain moments in life you know you’ll never forget, and this is definitely one of them. My heart is full, and I’m already looking forward to all the memories we’ll make together.
