👽🐄 Aliens, Cows & Trunk or Treat Fun! 🎃🍬

Illinois Valley PADS was happy to participate in the Starved Rock Regional Center for Therapy and Child Development Annual Trunk or Treat at the LaSalle Speedway & Event Center!

Our Peru and Ottawa PADS shelter teams got creative with a fun Aliens and Cows theme, complete with festive decorations and treats for the kids! 👽🐮🍭

This wonderful community event brings families together for an evening filled with decorated trunks, candy, games, food, raffles, hayrack rides, bounce houses, and plenty of fun! 🎃👻

💙 A big thank-you to our staff for representing IV PADS and helping make this community event special! We’re grateful for our partnership with Starved Rock Regional Center for Therapy and Child Development and the opportunity to be part of such a fun-filled evening for local families.

🏡 THE DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! 🎉

Monday was an exciting and emotional day for Illinois Valley PADS as our Ottawa PADS clients staying at the Peru PADS Shelter made the move to their newly completed Ottawa PADS Shelter at 1120 Canal Street! 💙💚

PADS COAT Team member Bob arrived at the Peru Shelter with the IV PADS bus to transport clients to their new home in Ottawa. Clients who had their own vehicles followed along, making the journey together as they began this exciting new chapter.

Our Peru PADS staff gathered to say goodbye and wish everyone well as they headed to Ottawa. While it was a bittersweet moment, we are so happy to see this day finally arrive!

A huge thank-you to our staff for the care, support, and dedication they provide to our clients every day. This move represents a new beginning and another important milestone in our mission to provide shelter, food, and services to those experiencing homelessness in our communities.

Help for Today…Hope for Tomorrow! 💚💙

🎉 Celebrating Our Amazing Ottawa Lily PADS Too Team! 🎉

We’re excited to celebrate the Lily PADS Too Resale Boutique team for surpassing their financial goal for the past fiscal year! 💙👏

We marked this wonderful achievement with cake, balloons, and lots of appreciation for the hard work that made it possible! 🎂🎈

💙 Love in Action: IV PADS COAT Team 💙

Sometimes, making a difference means showing up and lending a helping hand!

Our IV PADS COAT (Community Outreach and Aftercare Team), Bob and Lanie, recently visited an aftercare client who needed assistance cleaning their apartment. The client is visually impaired, making everyday tasks like cleaning more challenging.

Bob and Lanie rolled up their sleeves and got to work! After completing the cleaning, they also transported the client to the grocery store to pick up some much-needed necessities. 🛒❤️
These before-and-after photos show what a difference a little help, time, and compassion can make!

At IV PADS, our commitment to our clients doesn't end when they leave the shelter. Through our COAT program, we continue to provide outreach, support, and practical assistance to help individuals maintain their independence and move forward.

A big thank you to Bob and Lanie for going the extra mile for those we serve! This is what Love in Action looks like! 💙
