So I’m realizing being a real estate agent is actually stranger when you say what we do out loud?

Between photographing water heaters, meeting strangers in vacant homes, making deals happen anytime, anywhere, and getting emotionally attached to houses I don’t own, somehow it’s just a normal Thursday.

As chapter 10 begins, this is your reminder to look back at the previous month before moving into what’s next 🤍

I feel like I get this new month energy (that some times feels like anxiety) where I focus on everything I still need to accomplish. But I keep reminding myself to look back at my camera roll and realize how much good there was.

Friends, family, clients, everyone who supports Good Food Pantry, and all the little moments in between.

Send this to your Chicagoland friend who needs to know Goebbert's Farm has gluten free/dairy free apple c***r donuts from Rosie's Gluten Free Sweets 🍎🍩

They are so worth the drive from the city and you can stay for their fall festival! They thought of everything from a pumpkin patch to kids activities to a b**r tent to a nursing and changing station.

Comment “FALL” and I’ll send you their website to buy the festival tickets for $3 cheaper than at the door (note, you don’t need to buy a ticket to get the gf donuts).

My clients invited me over this weekend to see their house after they settled in and showed me this card I wrote them on closing day, framed in their living room 🥹

That closing wasn’t an easy one at the end. There were inspection items we had to get resolved, but we got to a place where they felt comfortable. My job is to work through the majority of the issues behind the scenes and make you confident in the home you’re buying.

Standing in their home this weekend, it was so clear that this was exactly the house they were supposed to end up in. And trust me, we saw a lot of houses before finding this one!

I had no idea that one visit from them at my open house in May of 2025 would turn into all of this and it makes me so grateful for the people this career brings into my life.
