Post Frame vs. Stud Frame—what’s the difference?

Post-frame construction is an excellent choice for shops, garages, equipment storage, and other buildings where large, open spaces are important.

However, if your building will include living quarters, stud-frame construction is often the better option. The evenly spaced wall cavities make it easier to install insulation, electrical wiring, plumbing, drywall, and other residential finishes.

Choosing the right construction method from the beginning can make a big difference in the comfort and functionality of your finished building.

Quality Matters!

Why We Build with 3-Ply Laminated Posts

When it comes to the strength and longevity of your building, not all posts are created equal.

At Yutzy Custom Structures, we use 3-ply laminated posts because they’re engineered to provide greater strength, improved stability, and better long-term performance than a traditional solid 6x6 treated post.

With three laminated layers working together, these posts are less likely to twist, bow, or warp over time. They also provide better fastener holding power, helping keep your building solid for years to come.

It’s one of the many ways we invest in quality—because the materials you can’t see are just as important as the ones you can.

Quality starts from the ground up.

Quality matters!

FAQ: What kind of warranty do we offer?

We stand behind the quality of every building we construct.

✅ 5-Year Workmanship Warranty on the building itself.

✅ 1-Year Warranty on overhead doors and entry doors.

When you choose Yutzy Custom Structures, you’re not just investing in a quality building—you’re choosing a company that stands behind its work long after the project is complete.

Have questions about our warranty or your next project? Give us a call or stop by. We’d be happy to help.
