October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My mother survived the expulsion of three million people from their homeland. She survived poverty, displacement, and starting over in a country where she didn’t speak the language. She didn’t survive breast cancer. Every dollar from this book goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This is my fight now.
