A first impression that feels like home ✨

The entryway sets the tone for the entire home so it’s important to get it right! We layered classic architectural elements with striking botanical wallpaper, warm natural wood, a custom stair runner, and vintage-inspired accents to create a space that feels timeless yet full of personality.

One of our favorite things about a breakfast nook? It turns everyday moments into something special ✨

From slow mornings with a cup of coffee to family breakfasts and conversations that linger long after the plates are cleared, a breakfast nook creates a cozy, inviting place to gather. It makes use of space that might otherwise go unnoticed while adding character, comfort, and functionality to your home. A banquette can maximize seating, make the most of an underutilized corner, and create a more intimate dining experience without needing a full-size dining room. Add comfortable upholstery, warm finishes, and statement lighting, and you’ve created a space you’ll want to use every day.

Because great design isn’t just about how a space looks — it’s about how you live in it.

Bathroom Lighting ✨

While overhead lighting has its place, sconces bring something special to the bathroom: soft, flattering illumination, a layer of warmth, and a beautiful focal point around the mirror.

Thoughtfully placed sconces can make a bathroom feel more inviting while also providing the functional light you need for everyday routines. And when it comes to design, they’re one of those details that can turn a simple bathroom into a truly finished space.

Because good lighting isn’t just about seeing better, it’s about how a space makes you feel ✨

✨ Associated Housewrights Showcase: Escape to the Artist’s Retreat ✨

A few weekends ago, our team had the chance to tour this incredible showcase, and we left feeling completely inspired. This beautifully colorful mid-century modern home studio was such a thoughtful blend of art, history, and collected pieces. The main house was originally renovated, and the homeowners later expanded the property to create an entire artist’s studio, a space that feels both creative and incredibly personal. One detail we especially loved was the use of antique and vintage pieces sourced from old churches and schools. Those unexpected elements brought so much character, texture, and story to the space. It’s a great reminder that the most memorable interiors aren’t always about what’s new sometimes it’s the pieces with a little history behind them that make a room truly special. We had such a wonderful time exploring this home and soaking up all the creative inspiration. A big thank you to Associated Housewrights for putting together such an incredible showcase! 👏

Six bunks. Six worlds. ✨🚀🐠🏰🚂🦸‍♀️

🐠 Under the Sea: Sandy-toned bedding, sea-inspired sheets, and illuminated seashells create a magical underwater escape.

🏰 Castle: A blank canvas for imagination, complete with storybooks and subtle fairytale details, including an enchanted rose inspired by Beauty and the Beast.

🦸‍♀️ Super Heroes: Comic-inspired wallpaper, superhero bedding, and custom-knit plush toys bring the excitement of a favorite comic book to life.

🚀 Space: Starry ceiling wallpaper, glow-in-the-dark sheets, illuminated planets, and a solar tube designed to feel like a spaceship window create an out-of-this-world experience.

🎀 Hello Kitty: Striped ceiling details, strawberry accents, and Hello Kitty storybooks bring the playful theme to life.

🚂 Trains: A custom hand-knit train and personalized pillow featuring the child’s name make this bunk uniquely theirs.

Every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a space that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a little bit of everyday adventure. ✨

A behind the scenes peek at a project we’ll be highlighting soon. 👀

An off-center fireplace and dated mantel made it difficult for the family to arrange their furniture in a way that felt comfortable and functional. With table lamps serving as the primary light source, the living and dining areas also lacked the layered lighting needed to fully support the way the family uses the space.

Through thoughtful planning, a reimagined focal point, and a comprehensive lighting plan, this home has now become a space that feels both beautiful and functional.

Stay tuned for more on this project soon!
