As the Jewish High Holidays begin, Judd Dunning and all of us at and extend our warmest wishes to our Jewish friends, partners, colleagues, families, and communities.
On this day, as the Jewish New Year begins tonight at sunset, we are reminded of the extraordinary power of renewal.
Shanah Tovah! G’mar Chatimah Tovah! Chag Sameach! Happy New Year!
In times of transition and challenge, especially as we reflect on the enduring wounds of October 7, the many challenges the Jewish people have overcome, and the wars they continue to face in defense of their right to exist, we are reminded of the extraordinary resilience of people and communities of faith.
And today, as we collectively remember September 11 as Americans, these moments also remind us how much human beings can endure together when guided by faith, courage, family, community, and the enduring values of our Judeo-Christian tradition.
But they also remind us of something equally powerful: renewal, faith, hope, and the ability to begin again.
The ability we all have, wherever we are on this great planet, to turn to God no matter how difficult the challenge, to reset, reflect, and choose hope, joy, and gratitude is one of the most beautiful gifts of faith. It is part of the American spirit, and it is part of the enduring strength of people of faith everywhere.
Today, we celebrate that spirit of renewal with our family, our friends, and the broader community. We reflect on where we have been, give thanks for what we have, and look ahead with hope, purpose, faith, and gratitude for what the new year can bring.
Rosh Hashanah begins a season of reflection, renewal, and hope. From the sweetness and promise of the New Year, through the solemn reflection of Yom Kippur and the joy and gratitude of Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, and Simchat Torah, the High Holidays remind us of the enduring importance of faith, family, community, tradition, resilience, and renewal.
At DWG, we are fortunate to work alongside people of many cultures and faith traditions, and we believe those differences strengthen the relationships, communities, and country we share.
May the year ahead bring health, peace, prosperity, opportunity, healing, and abundant blessings to you and those you love.
Shanah Tovah U’Metukah — wishing you a good and sweet New Year.
Please enjoy our calendar below, which always makes it easier to know when to work and when to turn in faith.
