Kingsland has the lake. It has the visitors. It has the families moving in every month. What it hasn’t had is a town center.
That changes now. 🏗️

Kingsland Commons is 49 acres across from Lake LBJ, planned as a place to live, work, dine, shop, stay and gather. A central park and amphitheater. Restaurants, shops and a boutique hotel. Homes for every stage of life. And a golf cart tunnel planned under FM 2342 that connects the Commons to The Legends.

Clearing is close being finished, and this is the final pre-sale window before infrastructure goes in. Once the dirt starts moving, the best spots go fast.

Opening a restaurant, shop, or office in the Hill Country? Kingsland is about to get its town center, and commercial parcels are available now 👇

Kingsland Commons is 49 acres on RM 1431, across from Lake LBJ, where the Llano and Colorado rivers meet. It’s planned as the place Kingsland has been missing:

🏡 255 homes planned on site
🏨 A planned 100-room boutique hotel
🌳 10 acres of parks, trails, and open space, plus an amphitheater

The demand is already here. An independent market study found the area can support roughly 100,000 square feet of new retail by 2035, and there’s no competing hotel nearby.

Kingsland is unincorporated, so building here means county approval instead of a city process. We’re also choosing tenants carefully so each business sends customers to the one next door.

Before a single lot was cleared at Kingsland Commons, the Native Plant Rescue Project showed up with shovels, buckets and a whole lot of heart.

Their volunteers walked the land plant by plant and gave 21 native species a second home, from lace cactus and Buckley's yucca to Texas persimmon and antelopehorn milkweed. The dig even made the October issue of Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine.

Okay, Kingsland… let’s answer this one once and for all. 👀

We’ve seen the questions:

“Is there going to be a park?”
“What about green space?”
“Will there be somewhere for kids to play?”
“Are you putting in a splash pad?”

YES. 🌳 A fully public area for everyone
who lives and visits Kingsland is welcome to enjoy.

Community space has always been part of the vision for Kingsland Commons.

This project was never intended to simply be a place where you pull in, run an errand, and leave.

Kingsland Commons is being designed around the idea of LIVE • WORK • PLAY… and the PLAY part matters.

That means incorporating spaces where families can gather, kids can enjoy themselves, people can sit outside, and the community can actually spend time together.

Green space.
Outdoor gathering areas.
Family-friendly spaces.
Places to play.
And yes… water/play elements are part of the vision. 💦

So if you’ve asked about a park, playground, splash pad, or green space…

We promise we haven’t forgotten. 😉

It’s been part of the plan.

And as the project continues to take shape, we’ll be sharing more of what that vision looks like.

Kingsland, Texas is changing. 👀

With a population of just over 7,000, this small Lake LBJ community in the Texas Hill Country has long been known for lake days, beautiful views and a laid-back way of life.

But the next chapter is already taking shape.

Kingsland Commons is planned as a new mixed-use destination bringing together hospitality, shopping, dining, residential opportunities, green space and community-focused amenities, alongside infrastructure improvements designed to support the area’s continued growth.

The goal isn’t to replace what makes Kingsland special.

It’s to grow with it.
