The pool deck area should always slope away from the pool. If that ground area is compromised, the ground material should be fixed. This slab has severely cracked and will cause additional erosion underneath with will consequently cause more damage overtime.

Any wires lower than 8' from the ground should be protected by conduit or other means. Should the conduit become detached, it should be corrected to minimize risk of electrical shock through exposed wires. The exposed wires present were the main wires for the home which carry significant current.
