DFW brought the heat, and we’re not just talking about this Texas heatwave.

Our DFW team came ready to learn, collaborate, create, and bring the Mox vision to life at Masterclass.

From hands-on activities and big-picture conversations to hearing directly from President Felicia Coker and VP Michael Wells, our teams got a closer look at where Mox is headed, what’s driving us forward, and what it means to be part of that vision.

Add in creativity, a little friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and a room full of people who genuinely want to get better, and you have a pretty great day.

The Texas heat was high. The DFW energy was higher.

Each month, our Mox teams vote on their favorite Creative Reel, and July’s winner is Houston Street Townhomes.

As Make Ready Technician, Charles heads into his next chapter at a sister Mox community, the Houston Street Townhomes team found the perfect way to send him off with personality, authenticity, and a whole lot of heart.

This reel screams champion because it captures what Mox culture is all about: celebrating our people, creating genuine connections, and finding authentic ways to make our communities feel special.

There’s nothing quite like getting the Mox team together in one room.

Our San Antonio Masterclass was a day full of learning, collaboration, fresh ideas, and plenty of time to connect with the people behind the work. From team discussions and hands-on activities to a little creative time, it was a chance to step away from the day-to-day and focus on learning from each other.

We also had Bud Reynolds, our Regional Facilities Director, lead an in-person Fire, Life & Safety training, giving the team an opportunity to dive into the details that help keep our residents, teams, and communities safe.

But honestly, some of the best moments happen between the sessions. The conversations, the questions, the ideas shared across different roles, and the chance to spend time with teammates you may not see every day.

That’s what makes Masterclass so special. It’s not just about what we learn. It’s about who we learn with.

San Antonio, thank you for bringing the energy, the ideas, and a whole lot of Mox spirit to the room.

A new role, a new chapter, and a lot to celebrate.

We’re excited to announce Heather Grohman’s promotion to Regional Supervisor for the Houston Region!

Heather joined Mox in March 2026 as the Business Manager at Durham Heights, bringing nearly two decades of property management experience and a wealth of leadership experience to the team.

Since joining Mox, Heather has made an immediate impact and we’re excited to see her bring that same energy and expertise to our Houston communities.

Every great goal begins with a vision.

This summer, our Vision to Reality session became a meaningful part of Mox Masterclass as we brought the experience to all four regions: DFW, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.

More than a creative exercise, these vision boards gave our teams the opportunity to pause, reflect, and think intentionally about the future they want to build, both personally and professionally. It was a reminder that growth starts long before a goal is achieved.
