Baltimore rents among the highest in U.S. for millennials - Baltimore Business Journal

Baltimore's rental rate averages $1,574 per month, said researchers at RealtyTrac, an online real estate data firm.

The data reflected 2016 rates, and it also showed that Baltimore City residents will pay 5.7 percent higher rental rates next year over this year's prices.

Overall, it's easier on your wallet to buy than rent in the city and Baltimore County

Hedwin and Pepsi prepare to relocate [to Baltimore] and developers eye conversion of another long vacant site.

The announcement this fall that a prominent Baltimore developer plans to remake the Pepsi distribution center in Hampden with a supermarket, apartments and offices was just the first sign of another wave of development in the Jones Falls Valley that promises to push residential and commercial use.
