Some 2026 property tax bills have been delayed due to tax rate adjustments and technical issues with a new county computer system.

But the payment deadline is still approaching!

📅 FIRST-HALF PROPERTY TAX DEADLINE:
November 2, 2026, at 5 PM.

🏠 WHAT ARIZONA HOMEOWNERS SHOULD KNOW:

✅ Some property tax statements are arriving later than usual.
✅ Homeowners can check their property tax bills online.
✅ Schools, cities, the county, and other taxing districts help determine property taxes.
✅ If your mortgage includes an escrow account, your lender may handle the payment.

ADOT has started construction on the Loop 303 expansion, a $613 million project that will extend the freeway approximately four miles south from Van Buren Street to MC 85.

🏠 **11,600 NEW HOMES IN BUCKEYE?!**

What's up, West Valley? 🌵

Buckeye is already experiencing significant growth, and another massive residential development could be on the horizon.

A proposed development called **The Cascade** would bring up to 11,600 homes across approximately 2,800 acres in Buckeye, Arizona.

The project has received a recommendation for approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission, with the Buckeye City Council scheduled to consider the proposal on October 20, 2026.

More homes could mean more housing opportunities, new businesses, and additional investment in the West Valley.

But it also raises questions about traffic, schools, roads, and whether infrastructure can keep pace with continued growth.
