Such a sweet night celebrating Marked For Life and the incredible work God is doing through this ministry!!

Marked For Life is doing so much more than meeting an immediate need. They’re walking alongside people in our community who are facing homelessness, addiction, poverty, food insecurity, and crisis. They’re helping people take steps toward stability and a new life. Through the Hope Center, Hope House, free medical care, food distribution, crisis support, and so many other programs, they’re meeting people in some of their hardest moments with dignity, compassion, & the love of Jesus.

I love that their goal isn’t just to help someone get through today but to come alongside them as they rebuild their lives and find hope. At the heart of it all is the gospel and the reminder that no life is too broken for God to redeem.

We’re so blessed to have a ministry like this serving our community. There are people right here in northeast Alabama who need help and someone willing to walk alongside them. Marked For Life is faithfully doing just that. What a beautiful picture of the hands and feet of Jesus right here in our own community🫶🏻

I thought this was too cool not to share!!

I grew up in Nebraska and my maiden name is Carnes. My grandpa owned Carnes Realty & Auction.

Years later, I married into the Biddle family. While cleaning out my husband’s grandpa’s house, we came across this Biddle Real Estate sign.

Seeing these two signs hanging together just amazes me. Two different families, two different states, two generations later.

I’ve always believed God reveals Himself in the little things and this is one of those moments for me. Looking back, it’s amazing to see how He was writing a story I never could have planned.

I’m so thankful for the way He has been faithful through every step of this journey.
