The last few years in business we’ve realized that if we prioritize helping people more that just making money we will, in turn, make more money.

These are a couple of texts we’ve received from a sellers we’ve closed with in the past month.

Got this text today from a home seller I’ve been talking to for over a year now. Nothing huge, but it brought to remembrance a thought I had when listening to an Alex Hormozi podcast about a year and a half ago.
I thought, “when you’re desire to help someone outweighs your desire to make money you’ll make money by default.”
Of course this pertains mostly to business transactions and I really haven’t given it much thought since. BUT, I have put it to practice as much as I can.

Making a sale is about helping someone make a decision. NOT about closing a deal (obviously closing is the goal, but you know what I mean). Anyone who’s been to a car dealership knows which of the 2 strategies are being used on them at any given time in that transaction.

If you’re desire to make money is super high. Just make your desire to help/create a win:win even a tiny bit higher and you’ll do well.

Those are my thoughts. What do you think?

Oh and if you read this far. The sellers signed the agreement on the spot…
