The sales rep in the model home works for the builder. Their job is to protect the builder’s price, contract and bottom line. Your Realtor works for YOU. They help with negotiating, reviewing the contract, upgrades and incentives, and with protecting your deposit.

Here’s what a lot of buyers miss: bring your Realtor with you on your very first visit. Many builders won’t let you add representation after you’ve registered on your own.
