Six rentals. One retiree. Midnight calls.

One of our owners bought rentals for his retirement and was handling every call and repair himself. Retirement was starting to look a lot like a second job.

So he handed us the keys. Now we handle the leasing, maintenance, inspections, tenant care and the financial reporting. His review of us now? Four words: "I just get a check."

Our new office is taking shape! 🛠️

Here's a peek inside the old U.S. Bank building at 101 W 4th St in Eldon this week. The new wood-look floor is going down at the entry, and the black-and-white hallways under the new ceiling are really starting to come together.

We found her! 🎉

Thank you, Eldon, for sharing and helping us track her down. The lady who asked about the old aerial photo of the bank, the one with her husband driving his blue truck out front, is Lynne from Henley Jewelers, Inc. !

Cory promised that if she found the picture, he'd hang it back up at the bank where it belongs and make her a copy. Today we got to hand Lynne her print, and that smile says it all. ❤️

Sometimes the best part of restoring an old building is the stories that come with it.
