Fred has personally owned a dozen multi-million dollar properties, renovated homes with local builders and negotiated lucrative transactions. Fred is passionate about the South Florida coastal lifestyle, custom estate living and sharing his experience with others. Prior to joining The Corcoran Group, Fred had a 20+ year career in finance with senior executive leadership roles as a Wall Street Equity Analyst, Investment Banker and Chief Financial Officer. His finance expertise and history of working with and competing against some of Wall Street’s top executives in a high-intensity, deadline-oriented environment allows him to excel in client service, transaction negotiation and ex*****on. Fred provided equity research and investment banking at leading Wall Street firms including Jefferies, Salomon Brothers, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and Drexel, Burnham, Lambert. He was ranked as the #1 REIT expert in 2016 by Thomson Reuters. Institutional Investor magazine and Thomson Reuters Starmine ranked him as an All-Star. The Wall Street Journal ranked Mr. Moran as an eight-time, multiple category All-Star. Fred also served as Chief Financial Officer of NaturesLab.com, an Internet retailer of vitamins and supplements. He oversaw corporate financials and ran daily operations company-wide, supervising more than 70 employees. Under his management, revenue rose more than 50%, average order value increased over 20% and operating losses were halved. Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Finance degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Fieldston School in New York City.
