🌲 Fewer Sales, Higher Prices & One Very Rare Tree!
September's San Diego housing numbers tell an interesting story.
🏡 Detached homes are holding their value. Compared with September 2025:
📍 San Diego County: Median price $1,060,000 (up 6%), with 29.3% fewer homes available for sale.
📍 North San Diego County: Median price $1,185,000 (up 7%), with 34.7% fewer homes available for sale.
Meanwhile, condos and townhomes are taking longer to sell, giving buyers a little more breathing room.
🛡️ Also worth knowing: California has new insurance protections coming January 1, 2027, aimed at helping homeowners navigate disaster-related claims.
🌲 And something uniquely San Diego: Did you know the Torrey pine grows naturally in only two places on Earth? Along our San Diego coast and on Santa Rosa Island!
I've covered all three topics in my latest market update, including links to the full September market reports.
