👀 THIS IS A GAME CHANGER!!!

🏠 No more are the days that you could only buy a manufactured home that had been moved from its original installation location unless you were a veteran, used a chattel lender OR paid cash…

Freddie Mac has introduced new guidelines that allow for the use of a 5% down conventional loan product to secure a mortgage on these properties!!! ¡¡WHAMMMMY!!

Keep in mind 🧠 … this does not mean that ALL properties will qualify for this type of mortgage. There are some specific rules in regard to installation and inspections (this is not surprising) along with the existing regs for manufactured homes. 🤷🏻‍♂️

HOWEVER, this is a wonderful bit of news that ultimately provides prospective home buyers AND sellers with another tool to put in their toolbox when navigating this housing market. 🙌🏻
