Some connections become so much more than a transaction. 🤍
I received the heartbreaking news that one of my past clients, Alesia Hines, passed away yesterday.
I’ve always tried to stay connected with my clients long after the closing table because, to me, this has never been about just completing a deal. Mrs. Hines was a perfect example of why.
Three different times you trusted me to be your Realtor. To buy, to sell, and then to buy again. But somewhere between those transactions, the countless phone calls, random check-ins, our ups and downs, the laughs, and even the times we cried together on the phone, you became so much more than a client. You became my “big sis,” and I became your “lil bro.”
You were also one of my biggest cheerleaders. Always bragging about me being your Realtor, always referring someone my way, and always making sure people knew who they needed to call. 😂🤍 I’ll never forget showing up to a showing with you the day after I had gotten into a fight. You immediately noticed my bruised eye and were ready to go tussle with somebody for your lil bro. 😂
That was you. You genuinely cared about me beyond real estate, just like I cared about you beyond being my client.
Thank you for trusting me with three different chapters of your life, but more importantly, thank you for the relationship we built in between them. I’m grateful that real estate brought us together and even more grateful that our connection became something so much bigger than that.
