Tornado Watch 🌪️

Severe weather is forecast for this afternoon as the storm system that passed through Tennessee last night heads our way. We can expect to see heavy rainfall, which could lead to localized flooding, and high wind gusts, with the possibility of tornados. Make a plan now for where you would go if a tornado warning is issued. If you are not already signed up for Chesapeake Alert, now is a good time to do so because the system will send you alerts straight to your phone in the event of a tornado watch or warning. To sign up, visit www.CityOfChesapeake.net/ChesapeakeAlert.
