Williamson County officials broke ground on a new segment of the Ronald Reagan Boulevard expansion in Georgetown. 🛣️

The project will add two new southbound lanes from Williams Drive to CR 245, with the existing road becoming the northbound lanes separated by a median. The 2.4-mile expansion will cost approximately $27 million and is anticipated to be completed by summer 2028.

The full Ronald Reagan Boulevard corridor covers about 30 miles from Cedar Park to Georgetown, with plans to expand the road into an eight-lane divided highway with frontage roads.
