Two years ago, when I announced the opening of Mission Realty Group, I shared a verse that God kept bringing me back to:
Acts 4:13: “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.”
Two years later, that verse means even more to me.
When I started Mission Realty Group, I didn’t have some grand plan for what it would become. I simply knew God was calling me to step out in faith, trust Him, work hard, love people well, and build a brokerage that did business differently.
And He has been so faithful!
What started with a step of faith has grown into a team of eight INCREDIBLE agents. Together, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside so many people as they’ve bought homes, sold homes, purchased land, invested, relocated, and stepped into new seasons of life.
But when I think about what I want Mission Realty Group to be known for, I keep coming back to those last words in Acts 4:13:
…they took note that these men had been with Jesus.”
That matters to me far more than the number of homes we sell or how large this brokerage becomes.
I want people to see Jesus in the way we treat them. In our integrity. In the way we handle the hard situations. In the way we serve our clients and support one another. In doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
I’m incredibly thankful for each of the eight agents who has chosen to be part of Mission Realty Group, every client who has trusted us, and every friend, family member, lender, attorney, agent and business partner who has supported us along the way.
As we begin year three, I’m excited about where we’re going, but even more grateful for the foundation we’re building on.
My prayer for Mission Realty Group is still pretty simple:
May we do excellent work. May we love people well. And above everything else, may it be evident that we have been with Jesus.
