As the Capital Region's only farm-to-table new home community, Willowsford has always been about connections - to the land, our food, the region, and each other.
Featuring a Farm and 2,000 acres of open space, it's a place that nurtures every aspect of wellbeing, with programming and events that have become community traditions, as well as plenty of nature's own peace and quiet.

Willowsford, Virginia is located in the Route 50 corridor approximately 6 miles west of the Loudoun County/Fairfax County boundary. The community offers convenient access to transportation and employment centers. Washington Dulles International Airport is approximately 15 minutes away. The Metrorail extension to the airport and beyond to Route 772 (Ryan Road) is currently underway with projected completion in 2017. All of the area’s major commuter highways – Route 28, the Dulles Toll Road and I-66 – are accessible within approximately 15 minutes. Willowsford is also convenient to major employment centers in eastern Loudoun and western Fairfax counties.
The local landscape is a patchwork of agricultural land, open meadows, woodlands, suburban residential development, retail centers and public parks. This specific location represents a threshold between the typically suburban, densely developed eastern Loudoun County, and the open rural landscape of western Loudoun County. This duality is a driving force behind the Willowsford development plan.
