A very special closing day that ended with a perfect slow sunset to cool the heat.

It was a great day from beginning to end. And like many good days, not without behind the scenes effort to ensure the final sprint is as smooth. And also like many of life’s journeys, oftentimes the hardest fought battles are the most rewarding!

We navigated a lot of big decisions through this deal but it ended with an amazing place for an amazing couple starting their life together. It’s so fun getting to have a front row seat to watch them quickly dive into making it their own.

Working with this Seller has been a true full-circle moment, bringing me back to the world of estate administration and helping me realize, there still is a place for all I've learned over the years.

It takes a LOT to prepare a home to sell. Period. But when the hurdle to getting there involves having to be the one to make all the difficult, emotional decisions about what to do with every item someone you loved deeply surrounded themselves with to carry on their entire life? That's really tough, and it's sadly something we all will do at some point or another in our lives.

Even while it's so hard and brings up so many emotions, to have someone alongside you coaching you and encouraging you through each step makes it all the easier...and that's how I've started to define my role as an agent working with executors, trustees, and administrators. With my background in both the roles of serving as professional fiduciary and as the attorney for the estates they serve, this coaching role is only further enhanced to help walk people step-by-step through the practical.

We still have some hoops to jump, as you do to sell a house in an estate, but I'm grateful and excited to be at this step with my client! 🥳
