We were turning over our Airbnb after our last guest left and realised the toilet wasn’t flushing. After trying everything to remove the clog we finally took the toilet off and discovered a v**e pen lodged in the toilet.
The worst thing to come from this was getting covered in very gross toilet goo but it could’ve been way worse. Anything from causing a major plumbing issue to having to cancel the next guest we’re thankful all it took was a little elbow grease and a really thorough mop.
It’s shocking this was able to be flushed to begin with and even more shocking that they thought this was a good idea.
