"They have such passion for learning how to crochet,” she said. “Their skills are allowing them to impact our littlest patients. I am so inspired by this program that I have started collecting yarn from my friends and family to donate to the Boys & Girls Club. I hope they continue to crochet, and I hope they are learning that their efforts are valuable and appreciated."

A group of fourth- and fifth-grade students from the Boys & Girls Club of Dundee Township crocheted hats for newborns at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital and recently stopped by the hospital to present their donations.
