Today, I was headed east on Hilldale and came to a stop at the Hilldale, Midland & Anderson intersection. I started to make a right hand turn when a dump truck coming north on Hilldale blew through the intersection, without any slow down for the stop sign. Had I been continuing east through the intersection, I would have been broadsided. The truck had no markings on it. I called the county Sherriff’s office to report this and I was told they would see about some additional patrols in the area. Others in this neighborhood have told me that they have witnessed this reckless driving by the trucks and others. Please, if you witness this, notify the Sherriff’s office before there is a terrible accident. (501) 303-5647

Update from Fidelity:
I hope all is well and your holidays are going great!

We are basically to the point of setting up customers for install. We have some equipment that needs time to “burn in” and become compatible with our current equipment. The trucks you were seeing in the area will be back out Tuesday. We do currently have one resident connected for testing purposes. The permits from First Electric set us back a little but we will push hard next week to get the remainder of the work completed and begin to set up installs.

Thank you,

Leon Burks

This Evening, Crystal and Collegeville Fire responded to Carter Off Road Park for a Truck on fire. We arrived with just that. With prior pre-planning, both agencies were out the door with Brush Trucks. Members arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. Great job by BOTH Departments!

Fidelity update

10/06/2017

Update from Fidelity——
Good Morning Residents,

I just wanted to give another update on the progress of the build to your area.

First, I would like to offer an apology for this going beyond the expected timeframe that was given at the time of pre-sale. Fidelity does know that you have made a commitment to us and we do not take that lightly. We also appreciate your patience with us to this point!

So, I would like to take this time to first explain the process and what should have been relayed to you at the time of the pre-sale.

The initial petition was to gauge the interest of the residents within your area to determine if we should move to the second step of the process.
Once we saw that the interest in having Fidelity was high, we then moved to the pre-sale. At the time of pre-sale, the reps should have explained to everyone that we had a certain percentage we were looking to hit to get the guaranteed approval to build.
Once the percentage was hit (which we were a little short on by the way) we would move to the local team approval to move forward.
After getting the local team approval and the cost analysis together, the project goes to corporate for final approval.
With a corporate sign off, we build.

With all of that being said, we are in the final stage of approval before building can begin. The President and owners of the company have been looking over the number of residents who have committed by the deposits made and comparing that to the cost of the build to provide services to the area.

Your interest in having Fidelity as an option is what started the ball rolling. The company expressed an interest in building the area in the recent future but never made the decision. That being said, it is solely your interest in having Fidelity as an option that is driving the consideration to build.

I worked hard with Mike Lary to get a sound presentation in front of the owners and president of the company. I believe we did a great job!

I am asking everyone to PLEASE be just a little more patient with us as we await the final approval. I will let everyone know at the moment he says go.

Sincerely,

Leon Burks
