Calera Main Street still needs your help!

Nearly 300 residents have taken the survey so far - are you one of them? 🙂 If not, please take a few minutes to complete this simple online questionnaire, and we will use the anonymous responses to help us improve our Historic Downtown district.

The survey will only be available until March 10th, so we encourage you take it today! Computers are available at the Roy Downs Memorial Library on Highway 25, if you or someone you know needs internet access to complete it.

Click here (or copy & paste this link into your browser):
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/calera-al

QR codes (like the one pictured) are available at the library and Adventurer's Coffee Company, as well.

Please share this post to invite other Calera residents to participate! We need each and every one of you to voice your opinion so we can shape our future together!

NERD ALERT! I love older homes and learning the history behind them. Before I became a Realtor, it was a hobby. Now, it’s a passion. The homes picture below are in Galveston, Tx. These home were ordered through Sears! Yes, Sears and Roebuck! Once it was delivered, you or your builder created a home. (There is actually one in Alabama too). When you think of the costal elements affecting these homes over the years, it’s amazing to think of the quality of supplies and craftsmanship. They have withstood hurricanes! I had a great time speaking with the homeowner about them!

A little information about me

Don't let the last name intimidate you! You are more than welcome to call me Donna or Donna Fay. But, if you insist, my last name is pronounced easier than spelled. It is pronounced SHANE-HAIR. (Yes, I know! :-))

On to more important things.... In my previous life I have had the pleasure of serving in the community for 26 years in Shelby, Blount, St. Clair and Chilton Counties as a public servant. Personally, I have lived in Shelby County for 30 years. Prior to this, I lived in the Hueytown area and in Coosa County. When searching for a relator to meet your needs, you want someone who knows the area, has friends in the area, and knows the history of the home you are interested in buying. As a seller, you want to have someone who knows the area well enough to be able to market your home adequately for a quicker sale.

Being with Keller Williams Metro South has placed me at an advantage over other agents. We have over 150 agents in our office who constantly communicate about homes in the area and buyers who are in need. We often know what is on the market prior to it being available. This gives us an advantage when selling your home or finding your dream home.

As a relator, I can walk you through the entire process of buying a home and selling your home. My job is to educate you, provide resources to assist you, and hopefully make the process a pleasurable experience. I am licensed for the state of Alabama and will travel as needed to make sure your needs are met.
