Low Cost Tip #7 to help perk up your home...CLEAN IT. It is amazing what a little cleaner and elbow grease can do to make your house shine again. Do a very thorough cleaning of the floor, baseboards, lights fixtures, bath tubs, and shower stalls. Cleaning tip: use a pumice stone to get rid of that toilet ring without scratching the porcelain.

Low Cost Tip #6 to help perk up your home...LIGHT IT. Lighting can dramatically change the feel of your home. Install inexpensive dimmer switches to achieve the kind of mood you would like. Add lamps with attractive shades to bring color into the room.

I am blessed with some of the most generous people in the world in my life. Thank you very much for my gift. I'm speechless.

Low Cost Tip #5 to help perk up your home...REPLACE IT. Make your cabinets look new again with updated hardware. Change your rugs and towels in your kitchen and bathrooms. New colors go along way!

Low Cost Tip #4 to help perk up your home...Organize it. Organize that clutter! Take a day to file all of that paperwork, sort through photos and clean out the junk-catch-all. By adding a few space savers and hooks and shelves your home can look tens times better.

Low Cost tip #3 to help perk up your home...Paint It. Paint is one of the cheapeast and most dramatic ways to spruce up your home. Just make sure that you do a test spot before you paint the whole room!

Low Cost Tip #2 to help perk up your home... PLANT IT. Add houseplants to bring texture, warmth and color to your home. Buy unique and different size pots to create a dramatic effect in the room.

Low Cost Tip #1 to bring your home up to date before putting it on the market....MOVE IT. rearrange the furniture, add and remove some lamps and accessories. Use mirrors are a great way to update a room.

Wow! I feel like I just went to a class on oceanfront properties after speaking to an architect. Be very careful about buying a house that the current house sits in the 40 foot setback. You can't put anything back into the setback not even steps to the water, patio, deck etc...only landscaping. Even if there is a grandfathered house you can't put a second story on within the setback.
