The Ada, OK and surrounding areas have a large number of FP StabLoc electrical panels. They have a documented history of failure when overloaded. As Home Inspectors, we are not licensed Electricians and are advised to recommend that all Federal Pacific StabLoc electrical panels be evaluated by a licensed Electrician. Please refer to the link below for further information. We would be happy to provide you with additional information if you would like it. http://inspectapedia.com/fpe/fpepanel.htm
Buyers can save themselves some of the worry about the mechanical items of their dream home. All they have to do is take a picture of the informational panel on the units and do a little research. The internet is a valuable source for telling the age of a unit and information on potential problems or recalls.
We perform pre-sale home inspections so your seller is aware of any potential concerns. We perform home inspections for your buyer to ensure that they are purchasing a structurally sound and safe home. Each type of home inspection is a win-win for both the seller and the buyer.
