THE GROVE RESIDENCES
Multi-Unit Residential Building

For this project, the design approach was to maximize usable space while creating a residential environment that feels open, breathable, and connected to nature.

A rich terracotta-tiled façade establishes the building's identity, complemented by ACP panels, angled vertical timber louvers, and a roof with slanted eaves. Concrete breeze blocks and aluminum metal gates allow airflow while maintaining privacy, while integrated planter boxes introduce greenery throughout the building.

Every element serves a purpose: maximizing space, encouraging natural light and ventilation, and creating a refreshing refuge for students, professionals, and urban dwellers amid the pace of city life.

Good architecture goes beyond aesthetics. It responds to the site, understands the people who will use it, and makes every space count.

THE COLONNA RESIDENCE
A Home for Gathering and Everyday Living

The Colonna Residence is a two-storey home designed for Sunday lunches, birthdays, reunions, and holidays that bring family and friends together. It welcomes celebrations while preserving the comfort and privacy of everyday living.

Massive columns, clean lines, and a consistent palette of materials give the house a strong, grounded presence, defined by solidity and permanence.

A carved, tunnel-like entrance draws visitors in before opening into a space of greater height and openness. A defined walkway leads to the main entrance, turning arrival into an experience of its own.

Public and private spaces are carefully arranged so gatherings can take place without disrupting everyday family life. Spacious, flexible indoor and outdoor areas allow the home to adapt to different occasions.

A covered second-floor terrace extension that seamlessly integrates with the existing house, creating a new semi-outdoor living space and a more usable area for relaxation, recreation, and everyday gatherings.

The extension was conceived as a natural continuation of the existing architecture and designed to feel as though it was always part of the original home. Its modern, sleek, and understated character creates a clean and cohesive addition, while the open-sided configuration maintains a strong connection to the outdoors and frames views of the surrounding neighborhood.

Designed with durability and weather resilience in mind, providing protection from heavy rain and strong seasonal winds while allowing the space to remain comfortable and functional throughout the year.
