It's Recycling Week, and we're giving a little love to those everyday habits that help keep our rental homes and neighbourhoods looking good.

♻️ Pizza boxes? Check whether they're clean enough to recycle.
📦 Online shopping boxes? Flatten them before they take over the bin.
🥡 Takeaway containers? Empty and give them a rinse.
🗑️ Moving house? Your unwanted furniture doesn't belong next to the wheelie bins!

Ask TGR: “I paid two weeks’ rent in advance… can I use that at the end?”

Ashleigh’s clearing up a really common bit of confusion around rent in advance.

The rent paid at the start of a tenancy covers the rental period ahead. It isn’t held aside to be used for the final weeks of the tenancy.

That means rent still needs to be paid through to the final day.
