Hackthorne Road was once home to the tram route that ran up the hill to the historic Sign of the Takahe - built between 1918 and 1949. While Hackthorne was founded here on the hill in 2025, we’re planning on serving our community for many years to come.

27 Barclay Place was a showstopper. The vendors were presented with an opportunity to sell, or lose the buyers to another property that was going to auction in just one hour. We dropped everything and met with them immediately so they could view the home before the auction and make a choice. They chose well. A win-win situation for both parties. Our vendors were rewarded for their hard work and beautiful presentation, and the buyers beat the market (about 40 groups over the next week to be exact!).
