Thackeray Apartments, where 20 homes are carefully arranged to turn a challenging site into a calm place to live.

Here we break down our key design strategy:

A steep site. Big views.
Two platforms step with the land. Parking below, homes above with a level street connection.
Circulation sits to the south, freeing living spaces to face north for sun and outlook.
Recessed decks bring light and ventilation deep into the plan.
Shared spaces and a central entry activate the street, while sculpted brick facades capture shifting light and shadow.

Visual permeability at Parkside ensures strong connections between residences, laneways, carparking areas, and green spaces, enhancing both security and community life.

Parkside. A community shaped by green space, surrounding a collection of 72 new homes.

This image shares a glimpse into one of the central courtyards as you move through the building toward your apartment.
Pleated facades to the terrace homes below use the architecture itself to provide solar shading.

Excited to progress the design and move into detailed documentation for construction in the year ahead.
