I enjoy reading and Iโm consciously working on building my knowledge-base so I decided to start a weekly series on books,
Iโm hoping this does the following:
๐๐ผ keeps me accountable
๐๐ผ Enforces my learning by sharing what Iโve just learnt.
Itโs important to know that this is not a review, And Iโll be sharing solid points that stood out for me and this can vary from person depending on your life situation at the time of reading thks book
I say this because it is my second time reading this book and my takeaways this time is so different from when I first read it,
So that said,
Here it goesโฆ
Book Title: Rich Dad Poor Dad
Author: Robert Kiyosaki
Takeaway 1:
Wealth Creation is more mental than Physical. While earning more is fine, becoming highly Skilled is good to have, Creating Wealth is majorly hinged on the way you view life, opportunities, your ability to stay on a course, think differently and see things differently.
Takeaway 2:
Train your Risk Muscle. After all whatโs life without Risks? You wonโt get away lurking in the shadows and being too scared to launch out.
We donโt fail we learn after all.
Takeaway 3:
The importance of getting guides. Seek knowledge and Pay for it. Itโs always the cheaper alternative.
Takeaway 4:
Habits make or break you. Choose habits that are always in your best interest every time.
Takeaway 5:
Start now. Time is the most important asset you have.
And thatโs it and thank you for coming to my Tedtalk
Have you read
What were your takeaways?
