Wall framing is a decorative design made on a wall with mouldings to create clean panels or patterns.

Why does it matter?

Because your wall is one of the first things visitors notice when they enter your home.

THIS JOB WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE 1 DAY… BUT IT TOOK 4 DAYS..

Some months ago, we travelled to Victoria Island in Lagos for a POP project.

The building was a tower and very tall.

The apartments were interconnected.

And we couldn't use the lift to carry our materials.

We had to use the staircase.

The stress alone is something I can't forget.

But that wasn't the biggest challenge…

The work was meant to take 1 day.

But some neighbours complained about the noise.

So they asked us to leave the project for a while.

Then the Easter holiday break came.

That also stopped us from going to work.

1 day became 4 days.

But Alhamdulillah, we didn't rush the work.

We stayed patient.

We did the work properly.

And finally, we completed it.

The client was happy with the result.

This project taught me one thing:

You may have a plan, but Allah may have another plan for you.

When things don't go as planned, be patient.

And always make sure you deliver clean work.

No it's not what you are thinking....

POP is not what you think.

It is not Point of Purchase...

In building work, POP means Plaster of Paris.

It is a white powder made from gypsum.

Add water to it, and it becomes soft.

A worker can then use it to make ceilings, wall designs, corners, and other decorations.

But here is the interesting part...

POP is not new.

People have used gypsum plaster for thousands of years.

Ancient Egyptians used it in their buildings and decorations.

Later, it became popular in Europe.

The name *“Plaster of Paris”* became common because Paris, France, had large amounts of gypsum.

Today, we still use POP in modern buildings.

The tools have changed.

The designs have changed.

But the idea is still the same:

Take something plain and give it beauty.

And maybe that teaches us something about life....

Useful is good. Beautiful is good.

But when both come together, something special is born.

A house caught fire in Abuja because of an electricity spark… but something surprising happened.....

Some days ago, a friend told me about a house that caught fire in Abuja.

The fire started because of an electricity spark.

But guess what?

The POP ceiling did not catch fire.

You can see the hole in the picture.

It was not because the POP burnt.

People had to break the ceiling while fighting the fire so the smoke could escape.

And this is something many people do not think about…

A good ceiling is not only about beauty. It can also give you more time when there is a fire.

POP is made from gypsum, which is fire resistant.

So while you are trying to control the fire and save important things, the ceiling can help slow down the spread of fire.

The answer is often the type of ceiling used.

A normal ceiling is simple and plain. It mainly covers the top of the room and gives the room a neat finish.

But.....

A POP ceiling gives you more design options. You can create shapes, levels, curves, light spaces, and other designs to make the room look different.

And here is something important....

A beautiful ceiling is not only about beauty....

It must also be strong and well installed.

A normal ceiling may cost less and be easier to maintain...

While, a POP may cost more, but it can give the room more style and allow more creative designs.

From Just Ordinary 3D Sample to Real Room....

Here is how it happened....

A client in the UAE wanted their female room to look a certain way.

So they sent us a 3D sample.

They also showed us how they wanted the ceiling, walls, and wall frames to look.

We saw it.

We understood it.

And we got to work.

We did the gypsum board ceiling, we did the wall screeding

We did the painting and also the wall framing too

Yes! We did it all.
