📖 THE STORY OF MOSES AND THE RED SEA 🌊 | A LESSON IN FAITH AND TRUSTING GOD
Long ago, the Israelites lived in Egypt, where they suffered greatly under Pharaoh’s rule. They cried out to God for help, and God chose a man named Moses to lead them out of slavery.
Moses went before Pharaoh and delivered God’s message, but Pharaoh refused to let the Israelites go. After many signs and wonders, Pharaoh finally allowed them to leave Egypt.
But their journey was not easy.
As the Israelites approached the Red Sea, they suddenly realized that Pharaoh had changed his mind and was chasing them with his army!
In front of them was a massive sea. Behind them was a powerful army. The Israelites became terrified and began to question Moses.
“Why did you bring us here? Are we going to die in the wilderness?” they cried.
But Moses stood firm in his faith and told the people:
“Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD.” — Exodus 14:13 (KJV)
Moses trusted God even when the situation seemed impossible.
Then God instructed Moses to stretch his hand over the sea.
Suddenly, a powerful wind began to blow, and the waters parted! A dry path appeared in the middle of the sea, with walls of water standing on both sides.
The Israelites walked through the Red Sea on dry ground!
When Pharaoh’s army tried to follow them, God intervened, and the Israelites escaped safely.
What seemed like the end of their journey became one of the greatest demonstrations of God’s power in the Bible.
The Red Sea was no obstacle to the God who had promised to deliver His people.
✨ THE MORAL OF THE STORY
1️⃣ Trust God even when you cannot see a way forward. What looks impossible to you is not impossible for God.
2️⃣ Do not allow fear to control your decisions. The Israelites were afraid, but Moses encouraged them to stand firm and trust God.
3️⃣ God can make a way where there seems to be no way. The sea stood before the Israelites, but God provided a path through it.
4️⃣ Be patient during difficult times. Sometimes, the solution does not come when we expect it, but we can continue to pray and act with faith and wisdom.
