Sri Lanka’s Tourism Boom
A Great Time for Property Owners

Sri Lanka’s tourism is back stronger than ever.

2025 saw a record 2.36 million arrivals – the highest ever. This year, we're aiming for 3 million, and by 2030, 4 million tourists a year.

With hotel occupancy in Colombo often near 100%, there's a real shortage of quality short-term accommodation. Business and leisure travellers alike are looking for well-located apartments and villas.

For property owners, this is a great moment to consider short-term rentals. Well-managed properties in Colombo can earn $2,000+ per month, and demand keeps growing.

The future looks bright for Sri Lanka tourism. If you own a property and want to explore this opportunity, we’re here to help.

KosyStay provides professional short-term rental management – from guest handling and compliance to full property maintenance and housekeeping.
