A little of the history behind No.1 House…

Set on the site of Bushmills’ historic Spade Mill and Foundry, its roots reach back to the early 1800s. The mill was once run by John Gwynne, whose engineering company later supplied pumps for the Belfast dock where Titanic was fitted out.

Today, the restored buildings begin a new chapter as a cosy retreat for two.
