From march 2027, landlords in the southeast are expected to register their rental properties on the government’s new private rented sector landlord database as part of the renters’ rights act changes.

In this video, we explain the proposed registration requirements, including the £65 annual fee per property, how to register using gov.uk one login, what information and compliance documents you may need, and what landlords should know if they use a letting agent.
