Earlier this month, our US team hosted clients and industry partners for Tea Around Town, a guided tour around Manhattan celebrating both the launch of the new SAS International brand and some of the remarkable projects we've helped bring to life across New York City.

A key highlight was a visit to the newly completed lobby at JPMorganChase headquarters, 270 Park Avenue.

Guests were able to learn more about the collaboration, innovation and technical expertise behind the development, including SAS International's contribution alongside the wider project team and Foster + Partners.

The day was also a fantastic opportunity to spend time with architects, designers, specifiers, contractors and industry professionals, sharing ideas, experiences and conversations along the way.

At SAS International, we're proud to work as a trusted partner throughout the design and construction process, helping our clients realise ambitious architectural visions through collaboration, expertise and service.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a memorable event. We thoroughly enjoyed your company and look forward to working together again in the future.

We often hear how the construction industry faces increasing pressure and fragmentation.

Architects, contractors and their clients are frequently dispersed, despite a shared design intent.

Throughout our history, we’ve collaborated on thousands of projects. In many of these, SAS is there from that first concept right through to the completion of the project - and beyond.

Our work spans design concept, prototyping, sampling, acoustic advisory services, manufacture, delivery, installation and project management.

Our goal is to add value by listening, adapting and efficiently delivering the right solution. But we’re also stepping up to help lead the way, with sustainability certifications and concepts for refurbishment and reuse.

Whether it’s information gathering from our new website, or help navigating a challenge in your design, SAS is on hand.

We're thrilled to announce that SAS International has been shortlisted for the Sustainable Innovation of the Year Award at the FIS Innovation Awards 2026. 🏆

The shortlist recognises our SAS Recover service and product line, which helps transform the traditional "take-make-dispose" model by enabling metal ceiling systems to be refurbished, re-certified and reused. ♻️

By extending product lifecycles and reducing embodied carbon, SAS Recover is helping create a more sustainable and circular future for construction.

We're honoured to receive this recognition and would like to thank everyone involved in developing and delivering SAS Recover.

Our new tagline - 'Made for Generations' - is more than just a phrase. It celebrates our past, and galvanises our participation in the construction industry as it continues to evolve.

Six decades of heritage. Since our foundation in 1968, we have helped fulfil countless architectural visions.

This is driven by our longstanding belief that architectural ceilings and metalwork help transform any space into a better place to work, travel or live.

A commitment to the future. We believe that choices made today will shape the longevity of buildings and infrastructure for generations.

So we’re making a positive contribution to the future of construction - through initiatives like SAS Horizon (low-carbon steel) and our Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) certification.

We have always felt honoured by the trust people place in us to create a ceiling or craft a metal feature. SAS has contributed to landmark projects that will never be replicated. But we're just as proud of the value we create, elevating the spaces people use every day.

When we decided to build our new website, we wanted to make SAS easier than ever to work with.

We have completely rethought our digital experience so it better maps to real customer journeys.

So how does the new website improve your experience?

At the heart of the site is a close relationship between inspiration and information.

We have introduced a smoother journey for product discovery, featuring more comprehensive cross referencing of features and projects, new product comparisons and a streamlined digital sample request process.

Based on feedback from customers, we’ve made it easier to access key technical details - including our installation guides and BIM objects.

Recognising the accelerating importance of sustainability in construction, the site shares more on SAS’ initiatives - from our low embodied carbon SAS Horizon products, to our Cradle to Cradle certification and evolving metal take-back and refurbishment programme.

You’ll also see a rich expression of SAS’ people, products and processes through an expansive range of images that are embedded across the site.

We hope you enjoy exploring the new site - but please also feel welcome to contact the SAS team to discuss your needs.

As we enter retail’s Golden Quarter, acoustic performance has never been more important for user experience.

The final months of the year bring intense activity across retail with increased footfall, heightened energy, and elevated noise levels. During this period, carefully considered ceiling acoustics can transform the in-store experience, supporting comfort, clarity, and customer dwell time.

For architects and interior designers, it’s a reminder that ceiling systems do far more than complete a visual scheme, they shape how a space feels and functions. SAS International’s acoustic ceiling solutions exemplify this balance, offering refined aesthetics alongside proven acoustic control.

We’re excited to showcase our work within the newly constructed Boston Scientific Administration Building located in Cork, Ireland.

Collaborating with Butler Cammoranesi architects, SAS were able to provide a range of metal ceiling solutions that would enhance the interior spaces, both aesthetically and acoustically.

Featuring SAS500 with SAS500i integrated lighting above the main staircase to work harmoniously with the large, pitched rooflight. The baffles not only direct natural light into the space but also provide the perfect blend of artificial light with outstanding sound absorption.

The Paterson cancer research centre showcases SAS740 finished in Light Oak from the SAS WoodTones range. This system has been beautifully integrated across multiple areas to bring a natural warmth to the building.

The use of the light oak finish within this space offers a harmonious partnership between nature and a clinical environment. Occupants are effortlessly brought closer to nature through biophilic design, which is increasingly important in today's modern world. This design movement is linked to several health benefits, including reduced stress, increased productivity, and fewer sick days.

SAS740 is an incredibly versatile system that can be used both in ceiling and wall cladding applications to deliver immediate visual interest with premium aesthetics.
