C is for Cookie... and Community! 🍪💙

The team at Novation Builders had a blast this afternoon at the Pasadena Trunk or Treat! We decided to think outside the traditional trunk and transformed our telehandler bucket into a giant, treat-eating Cookie Monster parked right on "Spooky St".

With the incredible help of the Flynn and Anderson families, we were able to hand out 250 treat packs to all the awesome ghosts, goblins, and characters who came by!

A massive thank you to Robert Bradbury for suiting up as our Cookie Monster, greeting the kids, and bringing the build to life—you were the star of the show!

Big shoutout to the Town of Pasadena for organizing such a fantastic community event, and to all the other local participants and businesses who went all out decorating their vehicles and showing up for the kids.

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻🍫

Happy Friday from the Novation Builders TEAM! 🔨

It’s been a high-tempo week on site, with major progress across two of our active builds 🏠. Here is a quick look at what we wrapped up before the weekend:

Custom Client Build

✅ Concrete & Mechanicals: Major milestone this week as W.J. Brothers and Sons poured the concrete floors 🏗️.
✅ Rough-Ins & Site Work: Maximum Power kicked off the electrical rough-in ⚡, Marine Contractors wrapped up the backfill, and our crew completed most of the plumbing and HVAC 🛠️.

Spec Home Build

✅ Prep & Framing: Marine Contractors stayed busy bringing in 10 loads of 4-inch stone and Class A gravel for the garage and driveway prep, along with completing the site backfill 🚜.
✅ Structure: The team made great momentum framing out the floor joists and laying down the subfloor.

A build only moves as fast and efficiently as the people behind it. Massive thanks to our reliable trade partners—Maximum Power Electrical Services, W.J Brothers & Sons Concrete Contractors Ltd, and Marine Contractors Inc.—for keeping these projects running seamlessly.

And finally, huge credit to the home team: Dustin, Shannon, Sukh, and Nathan 💪. Your work ethic, versatility, and dedication day in and day out are what drive our success. Enjoy the weekend, team—well earned! 🍻

☀️ **Summer is in full swing, and our crews are making serious tracks!** ☀️

It has been an incredibly busy week, and we’re loving the momentum. From foundations to final finishes, we are moving fast and making things happen across the region.

Here is a quick look at what we've been up to:

* 📐 **Pasadena:** Wrapped up another successful concrete basement pour.

* 🏠 **Taylor Estates:** Got the eavestroughs installed and looking sharp.

* 🔨 **Corner Brook:** Major progress at the Country Road Gospel Hall (CRGH) site! Inside, we have cabinets, flooring, painting, and electrical/plumbing finishes all underway. Outside, the civil works parking lot project has officially kicked off!

🤝 **Partner Shoutouts of the Week** 🤝

High-performing partners make all the difference, and we work with the best:

💡 **Dylan Park with Maximum Power:** You absolutely nailed the lighting in the auditorium. It looks incredible!

🚜 **Marine Contractors:** Huge thanks for getting a full crew out on the parking lot project right on schedule, exactly as promised.

Thank you to our hardworking crew and amazing partners for pushing through the summer rush. Let’s keep this momentum going! 💪🏗️

Quality recognizes quality. 🤝

At Novation Builders, we don't often run into teams that mirror our own obsession with detail, but the crew at Bungay Renos is a notable exception. We recently stepped in to handle the foundation work on one of their projects, and it’s refreshing to collaborate with a company that understands that a premium finish is only as good as the structural integrity beneath it.

When two industry leaders share the same values—precision, pride, and zero compromises—the results speak for themselves.

Great to see another local outfit holding the line for higher standards in the trade.

A building is only as good as what’s underneath it.

Foundation season is in full swing, and we’ve been hitting the ground running. We’re currently on-site across various builds, getting foundations poured and set to the highest standards.

When you start with a precise base, the rest of the build falls into place. 💪

Making moves and moving dirt at 1 Tapp Drive! 🪏🚧

There’s nothing like a good hole in the ground. A huge shoutout to Marine Contractors for going above and beyond on our excavations this week. Their precision and hard work has set the stage for what’s coming next.

The groundwork is officially laid—now it’s time for Novation Builders Inc. to get to work on the structure! 👷🏼‍♂️🛠️

Project Tour - Country Road Gospel Hall

It’s been a journey from the tear-down to today! We’re officially seeing the interior of the brand-new Country Road Gospel Hall come together.

Here is the latest from the site:

• The Auditorium: We’ve reached the final stages of plastering! It’s finally starting to look like the beautiful space it’s meant to be. 🪜

• The Prep Work: Door frames and window trims are being prepped for paint as we speak. 🖌️

• The Big Step: The flooring is officially on-site! It’s currently laid out to climatize so everything is perfect for the installers to start this Tuesday. 🛠️

Building something new takes time, heart, and a lot of hard work. We can’t wait to welcome everyone through these new doors soon!

Be sure to follow our page so you don't miss seeing the flooring go down next week! 🔔

Happy work anniversary to Dustin Anderson! 🔨

Dustin joined us on May 12th last year, and he’s been a total game-changer ever since. As a Journeyman Carpenter, there’s nothing he can’t handle—his skill, knowledge, and attention to detail are top-tier.

But beyond the craft, it’s Dustin’s attitude that makes the biggest impact. He’s incredibly reliable and brings a cheerful, upbeat energy that lightens the mood for the entire crew.

At Novation, we take pride in our work, but that work is only possible because of team players like Dustin. Thanks for a stellar first year, Dustin! We're glad to have you with us. 👊
