What drew you to these images? A memory? A feeling? Something you see in yourself?

When I get to the end of a day and can’t name even one, I know I’ve been moving too fast.

And for the last few weeks, I definitely was.

Now I’m soaking it all in. The colours, the light, the little things that make me pause and think, “Oh, look at that.” 🤍

A small Nova Scotia community,
with a big place in history. 🕊️

There’s something pretty incredible about Pugwash. In 1957, scientists from both sides of the Cold War gathered here to discuss the threat of nuclear weapons. Those conversations launched the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs, which went on to share the 1995 Nobel Peace Prize with Joseph Rotblat.

To think that an international movement for peace began right here, in a village on our own North Shore, is something to be proud of.

I love discovering the stories that give our communities meaning. Beyond the homes and beautiful surroundings, there’s history, connection, and the people who make a place what it is. Pugwash has a remarkable story to be part of. 🤍

39 looks like this: still becoming. 🔥

This past year brought growth I’m proud of and challenges I wouldn’t have chosen. But both taught me something.

I know there will be more roadblocks, speed bumps, wrong turns, and failures ahead… I’m not wishing for them, but I trust myself to find my way through them. And, I’m excited to see who I become along the way.
